More science for middle schools? Yes!
Worried about low test scores among public students? Who wouldn't be? But at least one part of the problem suddenly appears solved, on paper at least.
For years the science scores of Hawai'i middle school students have been disappointing. Well, no wonder. They're only required to take science in two out of the three middle school years, while most of their Mainland counterparts are required to take science in all three years.
