Oct. 17 — 25th annual City Bank Helps Tournament. At the Pearl Country Club. Benefit for Hawai'i Military Aviation Museum, Meals on Wheels and the Hawai'i Children's Cancer Foundation. Registration 11 a.m. with noon shotgun start. Information: 535-2586.

Oct. 31-Nov. 2 — T&L Golf Big Island Shootout. Golfers can play one, two or all three days. Each day features a shootout with a different format. Friday at Kona Country Club; Saturday at Waikolua Kings', and Sunday at Francis H. I'i Brown North Course at Mauna Lani. 8 a.m. shotgun start each day. Fee: $125 per player per event, or $300 for all three day. Players can enter as a team or be individually placed on a team.
