Discover Mo'ili'ili and celebrate rice

Looking for something for the entire 'ohana? The 7th annual Discover Mo'ili'ili Festival, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. today in Stadium Park at King and Isenberg streets, will offer entertainment by the Pacific Fleet Band, children's games and craft demonstrations. Admission is free. 955-1555.

As part of the celebration and in honor of that can't-live-without local staple, the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii presents the Celebrate Rice! Festival, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. today at the center.

Events include "Rice Wisdom," a presentation on the different types of rice, its history and a tasting demo. Admission is free. 945-7633.
