Tonight's Must See
• "40th Anniversary of the Improv," 7 p.m., and "Men in Black" (1997), 8-10 p.m., NBC. The emphasis is on laughs tonight with these reruns. First is a look at the comedy club that helped launch the careers of so many comics, including Jay Leno and David Letterman. Then it's the wonderful little movie that has Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones facing odd creatures from other planets. • "Saturday Night Live" season opener, 10:30 p.m., NBC. There's plenty of star power. Matt Damon hosts with Bruce Springsteen as musical guest. Of Note
• "Discovery Kids on NBC" debut, 2-5 p.m., NBC. Cable's Discovery Channel rents space on NBC with four different shows.
