Second Annual Exhibit of Exceptional Student Artwork

School tours are encouraged to view this exhibit, sponsored by the Hawaii Alliance for Arts Education, of award-winning student art works from grades 6-9 plus a special guest school from the Big Islands — Hawaii Center for Learning Science Through Art. The selection criteria required each school to show at least two of the following through the arts: integration into other subjects (note the glassworks), imaginative learning environments, parental involvement, learning about other cultures, and respect for community. On display are works by these budding young artists in pencil, relief print, photography, sculptural construction, stitchery, sumi brush painting, ceramics, ink, mixed media and glass.
