Dixie

This fluffy cat wears a coat of many colors including white, brown, tan and black. She has a cute splotch of color on her face. An adult cat about 2 years old, Dixie gets along well with other cats and loves people. Meet Dixie in Room 1 at the Cat House.

Bozo

Tall and lanky, Bozo is a majestic Airedale terrier mix with a wild hair-do. Just 1 year old, Bozo is entering the teenage stage, where training is a big plus. This wonderful dog would be a great addition to a home with no small children and no other dogs.

Bugs Bunny

This adult female rabbit is called Bugs, but she could have another name. She was found recently and remains unclaimed at the humane society. If you have lost this light gray and tan rabbit, please visit the shelter to claim her.

These particular animals may already have found new homes. Please visit to see all the potential pets in person. October is Love-a-Dog month. The Hawaiian Humane Society & McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Avenue are open Mondays through Fridays, noon to 8 p.m., and weekends and holidays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The incoming animals area always is open.
