'Santa's Joy' coming to Macy's

"Santa's Joy," a Christmas puppet-show tradition, is being readied at Macy's Ala Moana.

The live show, with a 12-puppet cast, will be staged daily at Macy's, from Nov. 30 through Dec. 23, in the Special Events Room. It is the creation of Anna Viggiano and producer Lindbergh Marzo from Puppets Unlimited, who had worked before with Liberty House, which was bought out by Macy's.

Specific showtimes will be at 9 and 11 a.m. Mondays through Wednesdays; 9 a.m. , 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays; and 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 22. Showtimes will be at 9 and 11 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. on Dec. 23.

Tickets: $16 for adults, $10 for children, on sale beginning Oct. 2 at the Pineapple Room. The admission includes the puppet show plus a snack from the Pineapple Room, plus visits with Santa Claus for picture-taking.
