Boat in tow comes loose near H-1 Waimalu

| This morning's traffic snarl worsened when this 36-foot boat slipped off its trailer and onto the H-1 Freeway.

The 8:32 a.m. incident did not force any closure of eastbound lanes to traffic, police said. The scene was congested because of a stalled vehicle in the same area.
Earlier, at 7:29 a.m., a truck flipped over on Moanalua Road before the westbound H-1 on-ramp near Red Hill.
No injuries were reported in either case, police said..
