Advertiser Staff

• Plant lovers, if you're not out tending those green things right now, maybe you should be checking out the 63rd Annual Orchid Plant and Flower Show, continuing 9 a.m.-8 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. tomorrow at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. It's themed "A Wild World of Orchids," and includes exhibits, a big plant sale and those helpful lectures/demonstrations. Here's an elegant possibility: a 2:30 p.m. ikebana demonstration. Admission is free. 262-6108, 396-6440.

• You don't have to go to eBay to find that special vintage 'ukulele or that hula-girl lamp. Not that we know those items will be at the Wiki Wiki One Day Vintage Collectibles and Hawaiiana Show, but half the joy is just looking, right? Join the hordes noon-5 p.m. today at the Blaisdell Center Hawai'i Suites. Tickets: $3.50 general, $2 for ages 7-11; early entry at 10 a.m. is $15. 941-9754, www.ukulele.com/wikiwiki

• Leave the car, walk across the street and get a jump on holiday shopping at the Pacific Handcrafters Guild's Fall Festival of Art & Fine Crafts, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. tomorrow at Thomas Square. Admission is free. 254-6788.
