Mililani tops Wai'anae, 14-10; Campbell takes West Red lead

Billy Barbour scored on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter to lift Mililani to 14-10 victory over Wai'anae in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association West Red Division football game at Mililani last night.

Barbour also scored on an 8-yard run in the second quarter.

Kalani Hoopii's field goal in the third quarter put Wai'anae ahead 10-7.

Mililani quarterback Sean Fujimoto completed 10 of 20 passes for 189 yards.

Campbell 18, 'Aiea 15: Isaac Laupola caught an 8-yard touchdown pass from Jonah Canionero 9 seconds before halftime, which proved to be the winning score for Campbell at 'Aiea Stadium.

The Sabers (5-1) took over sole possession of first in the OIA West Red, a game ahead of Wai'anae (4-2).

Campbell's Mapa Malupo carried the ball 18 times for 177 yards and scored touchdowns of 15 and 87 yards.

Waipahu 32, Radford 20: Travis Atualevao scored two touchdowns in the first half and Andy Hale scored on two runs in the second half to lift the Marauders at Radford field.

Atualevao scored on a 15-yard run and on a 24-yard pass from Val Ventura as Waipahu took a 18-7 first-half lead. Hale scored on runs of 33 and 2 yards in the third quarter.
