Weddings

Barbara Catherine Alfano, daughter of Joseph and Margot Alfano of Bristol, R.I., and John Kamalei Titchen, son of John A. and Katharine Titchen of Honolulu, were married Dec. 18, 2001, in San Diego. A ceremony was held June 22 at the bride's parents' home in San Diego. A reception followed in San Diego. The bride (University of San Diego master's) is a university administrator. The groom (1991 Kaiser High) is a Coast Guard officer and Naval Flight School student. They live in Florida.

Rae Ann Pomaika'ilani Sui Lan Chow, daughter of Richard "Dickie" Chow and Mary Ann Chow of Honolulu, and James "Jamie" Hyatt, son of James L. and Judith Hyatt of Oregon, were married July 20 at Waioli Chapel. The reception followed at the Elks Lodge in Waikiki. The bride (1992 Kamehameha Schools), now Rae Ann Pomaika'ilani Sui Lan Chow Hyatt, is a self-employed business owner. The groom (1983 Crook County High), formerly of Prineville, Ore., is a radio programming director and midday on-air radio personality. They live in Honolulu.

Lyn K. Harada, daughter of Clifford and Mae Harada of Wahiawa, and Leroy J. Chincio Jr., son of Leroy and Charlotte Chincio of Wahiawa, were married July 7 at the Halekulani Hotel. The reception followed at the hotel. The bride (1990 Leilehua High, 1994 University of Hawai'i bachelor's), now Lyn K. Chincio, is an elementary school teacher. The groom (1985 Leilehua High, 2002 University of Phoenix bachelor's) is a resource planner. They live in Wahiawa.

Cher Noelle Higashihara, daughter of Junet and Yates Higashihara of Honolulu, and Blayne Kazumi Takemoto, son of James and Gertrude Takemoto of Waipahu, were married July 7 at the Hawaii Prince Hotel. The reception followed at the hotel. The bride (1993 Moanalua High, 1997 Pacific University bachelor's, 1998 Pacific University master's), now Cher N.H. Takemoto, is an art teacher. The groom (1990 Pearl City High, 1994 Pacific University bachelor's) is a vice president of a maintenance company. They live in Waipahu.
