Kalani names new coaches

Kalani High has named three new head coaches, athletic director Gordon Miyashiro announced.

Former University of Hawai'i assistant baseball coach Les Nakama has been named softball coach for the Falcons. He also coached baseball at Farrington.

Also, Alfred Torres Jr. will be the new wrestling coach. He had 18 years of coaching experience while at St. Louis School.

Wayne Fujihara, a former Kaiser High soccer coach, will be head girls soccer coach at Kalani.
