CATFISHING

• Weekend fishing for catfish stocked in Nu'uanu Reservoir No. 4 will begin Nov. 16, the state Department of Land Natural Resources said.

Anglers must get an entry card from the agency and have a freshwater game fishing license. The card will give their assigned date and time, which will be determined by a drawing.

Applications for entry cards will be available until Friday at the agency's permit counter, 1151 Punchbowl Street, room 130, as well as various licensing agents on O'ahu. The limit will be two catfish per licensed angler.

Fishing will be allowed on consecutive weekends until all anglers have been accommodated. There will be no fishing on Christmas and New Year's weekends, however.

For further information, call 587-0109 or 587-0100.
