• Trail Blazers 87, Rockets 86: Zach Randolph scored 10 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter, and Houston's Tito Maddox missed a layup at the buzzer as the Portland Trail Blazers held off the Rockets.

Houston's Eddie Griffin scored 17 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter, and Kenny Thomas added 14 points.

The Rockets (3-1) were without 7-foot-5 rookie center Yao Ming, the league's No. 1 draft choice.

• Knicks 85, Spurs 82: Shandon Anderson scored 17 of his 18 points in the third quarter to lead the New York Knicks past the San Antonio Spurs.

Allan Houston added 13 and Clarence Weatherspoon 12 for the Knicks.

Tim Duncan led San Antonio with 15 points, but he shot just 5-of-16 from the floor.

• Pacers 88, Timberwolves 83: Ron Mercer and Jermaine O'Neal each scored 16 points to lead the Indiana Pacers (4-1) over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kevin Garnett led Minnesota (3-1) with 21 points, and Felipe Lopez came off the bench to add 18 points.

• Bulls 98, Clippers 91: Lonny Baxter had 10 his 28 points in the second quarter, and Marcus Fizer finished with 16 to lead the Chicago Bulls (2-3) victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Marko Jaric had 19 points and Corey Maggette 14 for the Clippers (3-3).

• Grizzlies 108, Magic 105: Stromile Swift scored 19 points and Wesley Person added 14 to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a victory over the Orlando Magic.

Drew Gooden, Memphis' top draft pick, had 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Tracy McGrady led the Magic (2-3) with 24 points. Grant Hill scored 17, while rookie Pat Burke added 16 and Mike Miller had 15.

• Cavaliers 95, Jazz 91: Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 30 points — 20 after halftime — and Darius Miles had 15 points in his home debut for Cleveland, leading the Cavaliers to a win over the Utah Jazz.

Andrei Kirilenko scored 21 points and John Stockton 14 to lead the Jazz.

• Nets 93, Raptors 77: Kerry Kittles scored 17 points as the New Jersey Nets beat the Toronto Raptors to remain unbeaten. Jason Kidd added 12 points and six assists for the Eastern Conference champions (5-0).

Michael Bradley had a team-high 19 points for the Raptors, who have lost four of their five preseason games.

The Raptors' Vince Carter missed the game because of a stiff back.
