Key House votes:

1. Stopgap spending

On Wednesday, the House passed on a 228-172 vote a stopgap funding measure that will keep the government operating through Nov. 22. A "yea" vote was to pass the bill.

Hawaii votes: Neil Abercrombie (D) NAY

2. Drunk driving

The House passed Wednesday a bill on a 296-94 vote that would allow the U.S. Customs Service and Immigration and Naturalization Service to take into custody drivers who are drunk or under the influence of drugs in U.S. border areas. A "yea" vote was to pass the bill.

Hawaii votes: Neil Abercrombie (D) NAY

Note: Congress is in recess so lawmakers can campaign for the Nov. 5 elections. The House and Senate will return Nov. 12.
