Tonight's Must-See

"The Rise and Fall of Jim Crow" conclusion, 10 p.m., PBS. This series concludes with 1940-54, when the world wobbled. Black people resisted death threats and voted; the murder of a black World War II veteran enraged President Truman and sparked sweeping changes; teens in Farmville, Va., protested conditions in their black high school with a strike; and the Supreme Court banned school segregation. Jim Crow laws crumbled.

World Series, 2 p.m., Fox. Game 3, Anaheim vs. San Francisco.

"Life With Bonnie," 8 p.m., ABC. Don Lake is usually behind the scenes; he and Bonnie Hunt created and produced this series. Tonight, however, he plays someone who says he is a UFO abductee.
