Small-business stories wanted

Advertiser Staff

The Advertiser business section wants to tell the stories of Hawai'i's small businesses and — more importantly — the people who run them. We want to let our readers know what life is like in the real world of small-business ownership, which employs 56 percent of Hawai'i's workers, according to the latest available data.

Whether your business is succeeding, failing or barely surviving, The Advertiser wants to hear how you got started and how you keep going through the highs and lows.

To get your story told, the business must be at least 3 years old, not involved in any major lawsuits and in good standing with the Better Business Bureau and state. The owner must be willing to talk about specific aspects of the business.
