Aloha Airlines not planning any layoffs
Advertiser Staff
Aloha Airlines has not announced plans to reduce staffing levels as the carrier seeks a federal loan guarantee and to coordinate on some routes with Hawaiian Airlines under an antitrust exemption.
A Business story posted yesterday was incorrect.
Aloha Airlines has said it is asking all of its roughly 3,000 employees to take pay cuts to save $37 million during the next three years in an effort to get the federal loan guarantee it applied for earlier this year.
It has said it is not planning any layoffs.
