HOLES IN ONE
After 50 years, at last an ace

  • Hole No. 11, 165 yards, 7-wood

I struck my Wilson Staff golf ball with my 7-wood and immediately heard my buddies Leonard Andrade, Richard Ohta and Steve Kameshima yell, "Bob, that ball is going into the hole!"

My immediate response was, "Nah, I've been playing golf for 50 years, and I have never come close to making a hole in one."

However, when we arrived at the green, we couldn't find my ball. It was in the hole. That was the most exciting thrill of my life.

I'm 79 years old, and I never thought that I would get a hole in one in my lifetime. Now I've got everything all set. I can pass away with a smile on my face.

Do you have a story to tell about your hole in one? Tell us about it. Stories must be typed and brief, around 50-100 words. The stories must include the date, course, hole, yardage and club.
