Women's group program set
Church Women United, an ecumenical movement bringing together Protestant, Roman Catholic, Orthodox and other Christian women to work for a just and peaceful society, will present a program for World Community Day on "Daughters of Abraham, Called to Peace."
The program will be 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Church of the Crossroads. A fellowship time will precede the program at 5 p.m.

S. Korea pastor to address rally
Billy (Jang Hwan) Kim, president of the Baptist World Alliance and senior pastor of the 15,000-member Suwon Central Baptist Church in South Korea, will speak at two events during a short stopover in the Islands.
Kim will address a 7 p.m. Nov. 6 rally at First Southern Baptist Church Pearl Harbor, 3121 Arizona Road and he'll also speak to the 7 p.m. Nov. 7 annual session of the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention meeting on Kaua'i Beach Hotel.
Assembly hosts 'Go 4th' event
The First Assembly of God, at 3400 Moanalua Road on Red Hill, will host a "Go 4th" missions conference with 15 speakers in early November.
The church will host evening rallies Nov. 3-6, as well as all-day workshops for clergy, church leaders and members. There is a fee for the daylong sessions. Evening rallies are free.
