Farrington upsets Kahuku, 21-20

Advertiser Staff

Farrington High School recovered a fumble in the last minute to seal a 21-20 upset victory over Kahuku High in the quarterfinals of the O'ahu Interscholastic Association football tournament at Aloha Stadium tonight.

The loss eliminates the defending state champion Red Raiders from the state football tournament. The OIA's top four teams qualify for the tournament.

Campbell and Castle play later tonight, and the winner will face Farrington in the semifinals next week.
