Verizon Hawaii is changing the name of its eight PhoneMart stores to Verizon Plus to reflect the variety of its offerings.
"Our stores have always sold phones, but the range of telecommunications products and services we offer has expanded greatly over the years," said Kevin Inn, manager of Verizon Plus stores in Hawai'i.
New store signs should be up in early November, which is when the conversion of all 84 stores across the country should be complete.
