• "Hawai'i Stars Concert of Extraordinary Abilities," Sept. 8, 5 p.m. A celebration of the special talents of special stars, presented by the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation. Free.

• FFH (Far From Home) with ApologetiX, Sept. 13 and 14, 7:30 p.m. An evening of Christian music, also featuring Reign, Tiffany Thurston and the Halau of New Hope. Tickets: $35, $25, $15.

• "Celebrate the Arts: Alliance Awards 2002," Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. The Hawai'i Alliance for Arts Education salutes achievement in arts education; George Ellis, outgoing Honolulu Academy of Arts director, will receive the Alfred Preis Award. Entertainment by Jake Shimbabukuro, the Hawai'i Youth Symphony, Tau Dance Theatre, Halau Olana Ai, and a jazz ensemble featuring Noel Okimoto and Steve Jones. Tickets: $35, $25.

• "Cirque Eloize," Jan. 30 through Feb. 1 at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. The popular Canadian company presents a new show, "Romany," blending acrobatics, clowns, juggling, trapeze artistry and music, in a rich tango of emotions. Details to be announced.
