Kapolei wins first varsity football game

Score one for the new kids.

Kapolei High School began its first varsity football regular season with a 44-6 victory over Waialua, an original O'ahu Interscholastic Association member, last night at Waialua field.

The Hurricanes got 301 yards rushing, including 131 from John Delarama. Delarama scored on runs of 58 and 5 yards.
