Local 5 opens strike headquarters

Sheraton Waikiki Hotel employee Domie Molina helped print signs for the Hotel Employees & Restaurant Employees Local 5 union, which opened its strike headquarters yesterday. About 4,000 members have authorized a strike at five Waikiki hotels, although no strike date has been set. Negotiations with the hotels resume today.
