"City by the Sea": Robert De Niro stars as a cop who must help an estranged son who is accused of murder. "Girls Can't Swim": A coming-of-age tale about two French teenage girls, one wanton, the other observant and jealous. Opens today at The Art House at Restaurant Row. (Not rated).
"My Wife is an Actress": French seriocomedy written, directed by and starring Yvan Attal, who plays a Paris sportswriter whose wife is a famous actress. Opens today at The Art House at Restaurant Row. (R).
"Swimfan": The new girl in town becomes obsessed with a high school swimming star.
