JOHN "FATSO" ALFRED KEOLA AHUNA SR., 51, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died Sept. 4, 2002. Born in Punalu'u. Former carnival ride operator with Wally E. and E.K. Fernandez and cook's helper with Pig-Out Gang in Hale'iwa. Survived by wife, Debra Kamai; daughters, Donice Ahuna, Serena Ahuna-Agliam, Malia Kelekolio and Malama Puahi; sons, John Jr., Joseph Sr. and Augustine Jr.; mother, Victoria Graham; sisters, Alicia Roberts, Sheila Kunewa, Yvonne Strong and Victoria Alameida; brothers, David, Augustine and William; 14 grandchildren. PETER CARDOZA AIONA SR., 82, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died Sept. 5, 2002. Born in 'O'okala, Hawai'i. A welder retired from Yamada Enterprises and owner of A&B Shredders. Survived by daughters, Jane Aganus, Billie Baclig, Joanne Peralta and Cosie Sasaki; sons, Peter Jr., Tommy, James, Patrick, Mark and Gary; sisters, Josephine Edwards, Rita Branco and Vivian Araujo; brother, Charles; 30 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren. STANLEY TOKUNOBU HAMAMURA, 85, of Honolulu, died Aug. 30, 2002. Born in Wailuku, Maui. Retired dental technician. Served with the 100th Battalion, 442nd Regimental Combat Team. KEITH MOANI MAKOTO KOGA, 51, of Honolulu, died Aug. 30, 2002. Born in Honolulu. SARA KIL SOON LEE, 78, of Honolulu, died Aug. 31, 2002. Born in Pa'ia, Maui. Retired from Tongg Publishing.
