Movie Openings

"Barbershop": The film takes place during one long day in a barbershop on Chicago's South Side, where seven barbers man the chairs. The owner, Calvin (Ice Cube), has decided to sell the shop, and that devastates the others. "Me Without You": Marina and Holly's childhood friendship evolves into a toxic relationship when they grow up, but they still remain close because even when they're hurting each other, there's no one else they'd rather hurt. Opens tomorrow at The Art House at Restaurant Row. (R).

"Never Again": Jeffrey Tambor and Jill Clayburgh star as two lonely people in their 50s who believe another romance is impossible; they meet, but their romance has bizarre sexual situations and practices. Opens tomorrow at The Art House at Restaurant Row. (R).

"One Hour Photo": Robin Williams in a quiet, creepy, surprisingly effective performance as a man who labors year after year behind the photo counter of a vast suburban retail barn.
