Firefighters extinguish Waialua brush fire

About 30 firefighters battled a brush fire in Waialua today that burned nearly ten acres and kept firefighters busy for hours.The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Honolulu Fire Department spokesman Capt. Richard Soo said the fire, near Kuewa Drive, was reported shortly after 10 a.m. and was extinguished after 3:45 p.m.
Firefighters found a white Nissan truck parked within the burning area, and suspect it may have been the cause of the blaze.
No homes were endangered.
