Waialua brush fire doused

About 30 firefighters battled a Waialua brush fire yesterday that burned nearly 10 acres. HFD Capt. Richard Soo said the fire, near Kuewa Drive, was reported shortly after 10 a.m. and was extinguished after 3:45 p.m. Firefighters suspect that a white Nissan truck found parked in the burning area may have been the cause of the blaze.
