Tonight's Must-See

"Fastlane" premiere, 8 p.m., Fox. This plunders plenty from "Miami Vice." Two cops zoom around in the sunshine to a rock beat. Peter Facinelli and Bill Bellamy star. The real star, however, is the director, McG. Having done music videos and "Charlie's Angels," he doesn't need much of a plot.

Of Note

"LaLee's Kin: The Legacy of Cotton," 4 p.m., on HBO. This Oscar-nominated documentary views the aftermath of slavery through LaLee Wallace, a great-grandmother in the Mississippi Delta.

"Cedric the Entertainer Presents" premiere, 7:30 p.m., Fox. Cedric the Entertainer originally made a so-so variety show. Fortunately, he's redone it. From a fake Spanish soap opera to a Barry White-style marital therapist, it's often hilarious.
