Two bank robberies on O'ahu yesterday — one of them involving a male suspect wearing women's accessories — occurred in a span of three hours.

A man robbed the HomeStreet Bank on King Street yesterday.
The first robbery occurred at the American Savings' Kapalama branch at 12:50 p.m. The man walked into the bank at 1190 Dillingham Blvd. and passed a note to the teller that said he was armed, police said. The suspect was last seen running mauka on Kohou Street. No weapon was seen.

The robber is described in his late 30s to his early 40s, 5-foot-8, weighing 160 pounds to 180 pounds with a medium build, police said. He wore a black long sleeve T-shirt, dark pants, shoes and baseball cap.

The second robbery occurred at about 2:40 p.m. at the HomeStreet Bank at 2 S. King St.

The robber entered the bank and passed a demand note to the teller. He was last seen running in the kokohead direction on South King Street, police said.

He is described as in his 30s, 5-foot-7, 180 pounds with a medium build. He had a tan complexion, brown wavy hair worn in a bun with light brown highlights. The man was wearing a white "Vanpool Hawaii" T-shirt, dark pants and carrying a large dark handbag. He also wore a ladies wrist watch, dark nail polish and sunglasses.
