Kuhio Avenue lanes open for Ho'olaule'a

The Board of Water Supply opened Kuhio Avenue lanes before the afternoon rush-hour period today to accommodate tonight's Ho'olaule'a..A broken water main valve forced the closure of three lanes of the roadway in Waikiki.
Repair work on the 16-inch valve will continue Monday near the Ka'iulani Avenue intersection. The center lane and two kokohead lanes were closed to morning traffic.
