University of Hawai'i softball player April Crowell and men's tennis player Reginaldo Moralejo were named the Western Athletic Conference players of the week for their respective sports.

Crowell, a junior from 'Ewa Beach, batted .800 (4-for-5) with a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored in two games in the North Carolina Tournament in Chapel Hill, N.C., and was named to the all-tournament team. This is her second player of the week honor this season.

Moralejo posted a 5-1 singles record last week in the UC Irvine Anteater Classic in Irvine, Calif., improving his record to 18-7, including a 14-3 mark at No. 4 singles. This is the first weekly honor for a UH men's tennis player this season.
