Menehunes remain undefeated

Kepua Lee scored 14 points and Patti Hardimon and Marleen Leautu added 11 points each as Moanalua defeated Farrington, 43-37, in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Eastern Division girls basketball game at Farrington last night.

Moanalua's Marlene Leautu takes a shot in the first quarter against Farrington. Leautu scored 11 points as the Menehunes won, 43-37.

Moanalua is 3-0, Farrington 2-2.

Laosamoa Misa-Uli and Revelyn Cabaya led Farrington with 13 and 12 points, respectively.

• McKinley 73, Castle 33: Bre Carson scored 14 of her game-high 20 points in the first half as the Tigers remained undefeated with a victory over the host Knights.

Carson had five 3-pointers, including four in the first half.

Amber Lee had nine of her 19 points in the fourth quarter and Melody Ababa added 10 points for McKinley.

Tiare Kahoekapu scored 10 points for Castle.
