Moanalua's Daskauskas one-hits Kaiser

Chance Daskauskas pitched a one-hitter with three strikeouts as Moanalua beat Kaiser, 3-1, yesterday in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association baseball game at the Menehunes' field.

The only hit Daskauskas allowed came with one out in the fifth inning.

Andrew Blomberg had a sacrifice fly in the first inning and an RBI single in the third inning for the Menehunes.

• KAIMUKI 6, CASTLE 2: Steven Matsunaga hit a three-run triple down the right-field line in a five-run inning for Kaimuki at Castle field.

Tony Mitani was 2-for-3 and drove in a run for the Bulldogs.

Reid Yamane pitched a three-hit, complete game, striking out five and walking five.

Kea'au's KC Calip struck out five and allowed three hits to stop the Trojans.

Josh Ua Kotomori had three hits and three RBIs in support of Calip.
