U.S. Sen. Dan Inouye said he will be seeing the documentary about his life for the first time tomorrow.

"Daniel K. Inouye: An American Story" will premiere at 5:30 p.m. aboard the USS Missouri at Pearl Harbor.

"I have mixed feelings about it," he said. "I get a little edgy when I see myself on screen — even in a news conference. That's why I don't have many press conferences."

The film is a biographical

account by documentarian Heather H. Giugni that examines Inouye's life from World War II through his rise as one of the nation's most recognizable senators.

Proceeds from the $150 tickets go the Missouri restoration project; for information call 455-1600, ext. 223.
