UH beats UC Santa Barbara in volleyball

Despite a sluggish performance, the University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team held off UC Santa Barbara, 30-24, 30-27, 27-30, 30-23, tonight in the Stan Sheriff Center.By winning their 11th in a row, the Warriors improved to 21-5 overall and 15-5 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.
In addition, the Warriors earned the right to host an opening round match of the MPSF Tournament.
The Gauchos fell to 9-19 and 4-16.
