Weddings

Dawn Tamiko Daida, daughter of Dale Daida and the late Brian Daida, and Richard Seguancia Jr., son of Henrietta Maka, were married Jan. 4 at the Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa, where the reception followed. The bride (Mililani High/Hawai'i Pacific University) is now Dawn Tamiko Daida Seguancia. The groom is a graduate of Roosevelt High. The couple live in Mililani.

Jenny Ryun Foster, daughter of Laura Gale Ure and the late John Allen Foster, and Matthew Cheung, son of Arthur and Susan Cheung, were married Oct. 20 in an oceanside service at 7005 Kalaniana'ole Highway. A garden reception followed. The bride, now Jenny Ryun Foster Cheung, is a freelance writer and a director of library services. The groom is in management and an officer candidate in the military. The couple live in Honolulu.

Lori Cruz Gorospe and John Harry Wingard were married Oct. 11 at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hotel, where the reception followed. The bride (California State University at Hayward), formerly of Washington, D.C., now Lori Gorospe Wingard, is chief of staff to a legislator. The groom (University of Michigan), formerly of Coldwater, Mich., is president of an advertising and graphic design firm. The couple live in Honolulu.

Lani Manzano and Tommy Cummings were married Sept. 28 at Central Union Church. The reception followed at the Hawaii Prince Waikiki Hotel. The bride (Farrington High) is now Lani Cummings. The groom is a graduate of Pearl City High. The couple live in Honolulu.

Robin-Ann H. Taira, daughter of Francis and Jean Hatanaka of Honolulu, and Alan K. Kawamura, son of Kenneth K. and Velma J. Kawamura of Honolulu, were married Feb. 28 at the Pagoda Hotel. The reception followed at Natsunoya Tea House. The bride (1982 Kalani High), now Robin-Ann H. Kawamura, is an office manager. The groom (1982 Kalani High) is a taxi dispatcher. The couple live in Honolulu.
