Local boxers join Viloria on fight card

Brian Viloria won't lack for support on his homecoming, topping a predominately Hawaii'i fight card April 15th at the Sheraton Waikiki Ballroom.

All seven bouts, which are subject to approval by the Hawai'i State Boxing Commission, will feature at last one local fighter.

The unbeaten Viloria (11-0, 6 KOs) will meet Valentin Leon (14-5, 6KOs) of Mexico in a scheduled 10-round flyweight bout.

Companion six-round semimains match: welterweights Eric Alexander of Honolulu (18-7, 13 KOs) vs. Calvin Odom (11-4, 8 KOs) of Los Angeles; heavyweight Tali Kulihaapai (8-3, 7 KOs) of Honolu vs. John Clark (4-2, 4 KOs) of Los Angeles; and super lightweights Jerry Saribay (3-3) of Honolulu, vs. John Lopez (6-6) of Hilo.

Four-round bouts will pair: heavyweights Sitafina Talosaga (3-0) of Honolulu vs. David Bihana (2-2) of Waimanalo; debuting lightweights Jay Saribay of Honolulu vs. Travis Tandel of Honolulu and debuting heavyweights Rodney Joseph of Wai'anae meeting Mark Mariko of Honolulu.
