DRIVE TIME
Maze of roads not getting easier

Hawai'i was never a simple place, but this is getting ridiculous.
Of course, it's been a long time since O'ahu was the kind of place a newcomer even a kama'aina could navigate without a map. These days it seems like you need a couple of map books, a laptop computer and a personal global positioning system just to get from here to there.
Information to help you get around O'ahu: TheBus: For schedules and other information, call 848-5555 or visit www.thebus.org. Vanpool Hawai'i: 596-8267 Trafficam: Check out traffic conditions at more than 20 major intersections around Honolulu. Road work:
Go ahead and scoff.

You think you've lived here a long time maybe all your life and you don't need any stinkin' map, do you?
But can you honestly say you still don't get confused once in a while when you're trying to make your way through the ever-changing maze they call Honolulu International Airport? Would you still lend your car to a visitor and simply point them in the direction of the North Shore with confidence that they wouldn't get lost? Can you really give directions to the Aloha flea market without sounding a little lost yourself?
Well, we here at Drive Time have a challenge for you. We've found the image that, once and for all, puts to rest the idea that Hawai'i is still an easy place to navigate.
So take the Drive Time challenge: See how many of the roads shown on the map above you can identify by name and direction. There are no prizes for the winners, just the satisfaction of knowing that you really do know your way around O'ahu.
