McKinley hands Kalaheo first loss, 46-23

Amber Lee scored 15 points and Bre Carson added 12 against her former teammates as McKinley handed Kalaheo its first loss of the season, 46-23, last night in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Eastern Division girls basketball game.

Taylor Smith led the Mustangs with eight points.

• KAHUKU 61, CASTLE 18: Latoya Wily scored eight of her game-high 23 points in the third quarter and Karla Tailele added 10 as the visiting Red Raiders routed the Knights to remain undefeated.

Kahuku held Castle to four points in the second half, outscoring the Knights 32-4.
