Take the long, comic journey home with 'The R.M.'

Halestorm Entertainment
Jared Phelps (Kirby Heyborne) is a returning Mormon missionary in "The R.M.," a comic film that tells of his adjustment back home. Among the cast of characters waiting at home are his distracted parents, a girlfriend who has found someone else while he was away, and a slacker best friend.

"The R.M.," which comes from the folks who brought you "The Singles Ward," is geared toward Mormons (especially those who have been on mission or know someone who has) and family audiences but has universal themes of homecoming and perseverance through adversity.

The PG-rated film, running 101 minutes, opens today at The Art House at Restaurant Row and the La'ie Cinemas.
