Eric Burdon rocks on

Rock icon Eric Burdon (in sunglasses) and the New Animals (from left, bass player Dave Meros, lead guitarist Dean Restrum, drummer Bernie Pershey and keyboardist Martin Gershwitz) offer a single show Tuesday, and you have to be on the Big Island to experience it. Burdon, formerly of the Animals and War, is about to release a solo disc, "Factory Girl," based on his life in Newcastle, England, where his recording career began.
