The Hawai'i Visitors & Convention Bureau board yesterday voted to approve terms of the bureau's contract for 2003 with the Hawai'i Tourism Authority.
The authority approved the bureau's visitor marketing plan last year, but contract terms were not finalized until this month.
The contract is valued at up to $35.42 million and includes new language to clarify intellectual property rights between the state and the visitors bureau.
