Weddings

Angelique Nalani Kaalouahi Sanada, daughter of Hiroki Sanada, and Guy Shigemi Matsunaga, son of Gerald and Carol Matsunaga and Duane and Mae Hong, were married Jan. 11 at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hawaii, where the reception followed. The bride (Campbell High School), now Angelique Sanada Matsunaga, is a court clerk. The groom (Moanalua High) is an attorney. The couple live in Honolulu.

Diane Hideko Mew-Ling Chee, daughter of Wilson and Lauren Chee of Honolulu and the late Mrs. Arlene Chee, and Asa Keiji Wakabayashi, son of Marvan and Wynne Wakabayashi of Pearl City, were married Dec. 28 at Thurston Memorial Chapel at Punahou School. The reception followed at the Oahu Country Club. The bride (1994 Punahou, 1999 UH bachelor's, 2002 master's), now Diane Hideko Mew-Ling Wakabayashi, is a teacher. The groom (1992 Pearl City High, 1997 UH bachelor's) is also a teacher. The couple live in Pearl City.
