Tube Notes

Tonight's Must-See

"Avoiding Armageddon," 9 p.m., PBS. Former cable king Ted Turner financed this ambitious, eight-hour documentary, which runs through Thursday. This program looks at possible mass destruction from nuclear, chemical or biological weapons.

It also views possible solutions worldwide. "Ted gave me two pieces of editorial direction," says producer Christopher Koch: "'International, international, international' and 'Don't dumb it down.'"


Of Note

"What Should You Do?" debut, 5 p.m., Lifetime. This series shows what people should do in a crisis; how to deal with an intruder, for instance, or immobilize a gunman.

"Married by America" finale, 7 p.m., Fox. The finale of this reality series. We'll see if the couples matched by viewers will go ahead with their weddings.

"Everybody Loves Raymond," 8 p.m., CBS. Ray and Debra jokingly ask each other who they would want to marry if they were widowed. This becomes touchy turf.

"CSI: Miami," 9 p.m., CBS. Horatio is asked to assist a man he helped put in prison.
