Mark Ho'omalu will be at the Hawaiian Bash on May 24 and will perform music from "Lilo & Stitch" along with students from Kamehameha Schools. Because of a reporter's error, incorrect information was given Tuesday in a Show Biz column.
About 1,700 students attended the Student Transition Convention on Tuesday. The event was organized by the Adult Friends for Youth. A Local News story posted yesterday gave an incorrect name for the gathering and did not name the organizer.
Roland Gella, director of Head Start programs on O'ahu, said his organization will run eight of 13 Pre-Plus preschools under a public-private partnership with the state. He also said the Salt Lake preschool opened late because of the difficulty in obtaining a state license. A Local News story posted Sunday contained other information.
