CRITIC'S CHOICE
Arabian nights, mornings with laughs entertain
Mini-reviews of stage productions, by Advertiser theater critic Joseph Rozmiarek
"Arabian Nights": The command "Open, Sesame!" won't work, but it's worth hunting for the lab theater at Leeward Community College to find this richly appointed production. These are the stories that allowed Scheherazade to keep her head, and the LCC presents them boldly. Repeats at 8 p.m. today and Saturday. Admission is $5. 455-0549.
"Morning's At Seven": God's in his heaven and all's right with the world, despite the possibility that 50 years of family intimacy threatens to dissolve overnight. Excellent ensemble acting by a cast of veterans makes this domestic comedy a real treat. Repeats at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays, 4 p.m. Sundays (but at 6 p.m. on May 11), through May 11 on Hawai'i Pacific University's Windward campus. Tickets: $14 general, $10 seniors, military, students, HPU faculty and staff, and $5 HPU students. 375-1282.
