"The Academy in Bloom," flower and horticulture show presented by the Garden Club of Honolulu at the Honolulu Academy of Arts, with floral arrangements, horticultural displays, exhibits on Hawaiian medicinal plants, lectures and slide presentations, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. today and Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday; $7 nonresidents, free to kama'aina and discounts for students, seniors and military. 532-8700.

Plant Sale, in celebration of Earth Day and the Year of the Hawaiian Forest, the state Forestry Division holds a sale of native, threatened or endangered and non-native species, including maile, wiliwili, palms, gardenia, hibiscus, noni and others, 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Forestry Division base yard, 2135 Makiki Heights Drive; free admission, plants at nominal cost. 973-9785.
